Treading the Boards

Treading the BoardsTreading the Boards has been in publication for over 25 years. It has been my passion & privilege to provide the theatre community with this resource.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce I will no longer be publishing the directory.  The cost of publishing Treading the Boards has become prohibitive and although I have always felt it was an excellent resource for everyone in the theatre community, I struggled to find enough customers that would make this more than a passion but a profitable business.

I will be eternally grateful  to Drama Book Shop for selling my book in the very beginning and referring it as “the resource” for theatre artists looking for work in regional theatre around the county. One of the reasons I have done it for so long are the loyal customers I do have that have purchased all versions of my book, and it has gone through a few incarnations. Thank you to them for making the time I spent researching, typing, printing, binding, & shipping all worth while. They made sure to let me know how helpful the directory was in their efforts.

I do hope that in the future, I may reincarnate once again, and partner with a company, organization or anyone that has the business acumen to make this book a “must-have” for every theatre artist.

And whether we shall meet again I know not. Therefore our everlasting farewell take. Forever and forever farewell, Cassius. If we do meet again, why, we shall smile.
If not, why then this parting was well made. – Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar
